Grandi Marchi in Seoul
On Thursday 26th November the Grandi Marchi held an exclusive event at the Banyan Tree in Seoul which saw 11 of its members present one iconic wine to an audience of 60 press and selected trade. The seminar was conducted by Mai Tjemsland, the newest Master of Wine. Following the seminar, press were invited to a briefing in which the producers spoke of their plans for the Korean market.
As the evening drew on, the Banyan Tree was transformed into a spectacular venue for an evening cocktail event for 200 people. The Italian Ambassador for Korea, Mr Massimo Andrea Leggeri, joined the guests as they enjoyed more wine and food. Famous cabaret act, Mr Jeremy Park, provided the entertainment and the evening was closed by a lucky draw to win a magnum donated by each winery.

Thursday 26th November
Location: Banyan Tree, Chungdam dong
2 pm -4 pm
Guided seminar in which one wine from each participating winery will be presented to an audience of 60-70 wine professionals and press. (Banyan Tree, 2nd floor)
5 pm - 9 pm
Walk around tasting in which participating wineries will present several wines. The tasting, open to 150 wine professionals and VIPS, will include live music and a buffet dinner. (Banyan Tree, 1st Lobby floor)
Friday 27th November Participation at Vinitaly Korea
Location: Grand Hyatt Seoul, 747-7 Hannam-Dong, Yongsan-gu
12 am- 5 pm
The participating wineries of Istituto Grandi Marchi will each have their own tasting table in a specially dedicated area of the Vinitaly Korea Workshop. (Grand Hyatt, Regency Room, Lobby level)
