Tuesday, September 17, 2019, the tour will kick-off in the evening with its first Vintages Event in Ottawa, Canada featuring the well anticipated Grandi Marchi – Italian Icons Walk-Around Tasting inside the magnificent Canadian Museum of Nature. This event offers wine lovers and consumers the exclusive opportunity to taste and buy wines, some of which not available in stores, while meeting the principals from these celebrated wine families.
Grandi Marchi continue their tour the following day in St. Catharines, targeting Canada’s greatest purchasing and market influencers through an LCBO Product Consultants Conference and Masterclass held at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites St. Catharines Conference Center, conveniently located in the heart of town. The Liquor Control Board of Ontario Product Consultants (LCBO) will experience the wines and vintages hands-on and familiarize themselves with what makes these some of the most recognizable and prestigious brands in the world.
Toronto, Ontario concludes the multi-city tour with several events being hosted at the renowned Royal Ontario Museum on September 19th. Mr. Michael Fagan, one of Canada’s leading experts on Italian wine, will present a guided tasting to Toronto’s elite wine trade and media. Participants will be able to taste these signature wines and hear directly from some of the top Italian producers during the tasting and winemaker lunch. Following, Canadian trade and media will partake in the walk around tasting and interact closely with the producers. In the evening, consumers will have the opportunity to taste and purchase their latest releases through the sold-out Vintages Tasting being held between 6.30 and 9.00 pm. A

It is an extremely important market which we happily continue to target with our promotions.”
