Argiolas wins Oscar del Vino for Angialis 2008

Serdiana 29 May 2012

Yesterday Rome hosted the Oscar del Vino 2012 ceremony, organised by Ais e Bibenda, which every year presents awards to the best wines and top professionals in the wine business.

Angialis 2008 from Argiolas is a delightful wine made from Nasco grapes with a small addition of Malvasia di Cagliari, which give it a golden robe and highly intense primary fragrance with marked Mediterranean characteristics. These are reflected in the mouth, where the wine is round and rich with flavours that recall the primary fragrance.

This prize confirms the pre-eminence of Argiolas in the panorama of Sardinian wine and the profound roots that have always tied it to its terroir. Roots that Argiolas chronicles through its wines in a sincere interpretation of Sardinia's wine-making traditions.
