8° IMW Residential Masterclass

The Institute of Masters of Wine (IMW), in collaboration with the Istituto del Vino Italiano di Qualità – Grandi Marchi, will be organising its 8th consecutive MW introductory course in Italy in 2019 which will be hosted by Alois Lageder Winery in Magrè – Bolzano – Alto Adige.

The programme will take place 24-26 May 2019 and will include tastings of a substantial number of wines from a wide variety of different regions of the world. A number of Masters of Wine will showcase the MW study programme with a special focus on the writing and tasting skills required to become a Master of Wine.

As well as tastings throughout the day, evening dinners are included as part of the programme and these will provide further tasting opportunities led by both MWs and producers.

Attendees who are eligible to join the MW study programme in June 2019 will be given a discounted rate from the normal application fee (£100).
