Hong Kong – Four Season Hotel

6th June 2019– The Istituto Grandi Marchi is the result of the determination and enthusiasm of 19 of the most important and prestigious italian wineries to promote the culture and commercialization of Italian high-quality wine worldwide. Formed out of an informal meeting between like-minded colleagues and friends, the founders of Grandi Marchi recognized that by joining forces, they could better promote and enhance the great wines of Italy.

Today, they’ve transcended their individual aims to achieve a common goal and, thanks to their efforts, they express a turnover of 560 million euros (5.6% of the total turnover of Italian wine in 2017) and a value of sales abroad equal to 6% of the entire Italian wine export. Italy’s best wines have both stronger positions in established markets and promising foundations in emerging ones. The promotes the country’s best bottles and producers on a global scale.

It is important for us to be in Hong Kong because it remains one of the most important financial and luxury goods trade center in Asia and regarding wine an important and reference logistic hub for most of Asia. Each one of our producers will be personally present and showcase their wines at the tasting.”

The event will be held on Thursday 6 June at the prestigious Hotel Four Seasons in the businness district of the metropolis.
